Though our clientele varies greatly from local to national Interior Designers, vacation rental management companies, property owners, and specialty event vendors/producers, our services all render the same basic group of logistic needs. We are able to assist each of these clients logistically with unique and strategic services to satisfy their needs.

You may be thinking to yourself, what information will Ocotillo need from me? Well, we’ve thought of that too and it’s fairly simple. We’ve created a basic list for us get to started:

  • Do you need items moved or picked up from your home or a manufacturer?
  • How many items should we be expecting?
  • Do you have a list of said items for us to cross reference for your account?
  • If not, a brief item description, along with size, color, quantity, and vendor will be helpful for our receiving team.
  • Would you like to have us process any freight damage claims or manufacturer defects while quality inspecting your items?
  • Would you like to have your items assembled at a lower rate than on site with a local moving company?
  • When do you expect your project to be ready for installation?
  • Do you have a preference in whether your installation is completed using a quality traditional moving service or a White Glove installation company?
  • Would you like to have anyone else CC’d on all communications? i.e. Spouse, Accountant, Project Manager, etc.

 

As a receiving warehouse, what you should expect from Ocotillo Services during this process is fairly simple. In an attempt to keep you well informed yet always in control, we will primarily only notify you if there is an issue of any kind, with the “No news is good news.” methodology. As we thoroughly and consistently communicate with you throughout your project, in order for us to make timely decisions and handle your project efficiently we do ask that you respond in a timely manner if clear action is requested. Once we have input on these particular situations, we handle the matter 100% of the way through to completion.

When our services are needed by means of a home renovation or refreshing a tired and outdated rental property, we are here to help. By putting your needs at the top of our priorities, we are able to provide a top-notch truly customer focused experience. As no project is ever alike, whatever your needs are, we will have an answer for or will find a solution for you.

As we primarily offer logistics services locally here in the Coachella Valley, we’ve also had the pleasure of working with clients who’s needs were nationally as well. We are very excited to say, our current location is in Palm Springs, CA but more than one location in the works. There is no request that Ocotillo Services can’t handle or find a solution for. From receiving your furniture here in Palm Springs or safely shipping your great grandmother’s rocker to Michigan, we’ve done it. We are proud to assist our clients every unique request.

Why consider a receiving warehouse like Ocotillo Services? For liability, size, and efficiency reasons, most manufacturers won’t ship directly to a consumer. We are able to offer a loading area for full size semi freight trucks and have primary receiving hours with a dedicated team always available for delivery. Believe it or not, most freight truck drivers job description is to get the item to you safely, not unload it. For that 400lb marble topped console that was ordered, we are responsible to safely remove it from the semi.
We differentiate ourselves by providing a higher level of customer attention and offer more unique individualized services than one would find at any of the local moving companies in the Coachella Valley. How – how to start and how do we benefit you

By simply contacting our warehouse, you’ll have any and all of your questions answered. While also feeling 100% confident about who we are and the unique services we offer. To setup your account with us, some questions we may ask would be:

  • What’s your full name?
  • What is your best phone number?
  • What is a good billing address for you?
  • What is your project address, where your items will be delivered?
  • What type of payment method would you like to put on file?
  • Would you like to pay the movers on the day of installation or would you prefer Ocotillo to invoice you for that as well? (Most of our customers prefer to receive an invoice from us and not another vendor.)

 

Setting up your account is EASY and can be done in about 10 minutes or less, leaving you feeling confident about your logistics choice.

Interior Designers wishing to try our service with your business, we have a RISK-FREE offer for you. For your initial first project, to give us a chance and compare us to your current warehouse, we are offering our services FREE. That’s right! FREE! *FREE includes receiving fees, assembly, and storage for a maximum of 60 days per item. Installation costs are not included as they will be billed by a third-party vendor.

Vacation Rental Property Management Companies, your customers home refresh is in our hands. Simply refer your customer to us and we handle the rest. No more having to follow up, spend a vast amount of time and efforts looking for solutions for each individual customer. We will even handle the billing portion as well, leaving you to do what you do best.

Specialty Events are a common occurrence here in the Coachella Valley such as the Coachella Music Festival, Stage Coach, and WhiteParty to name a few. For these venues, we receive and arrange the logistics needs for businesses needing to setup product booths at the local site or we can just receive the merchandise and hold until pickup by a company representative.
